Bachelor’s Degree Completion Program in Social Work

The Elms College bachelor’s degree completion program offered at Asnuntuck Community College (ACC) meets all general requirements of Elms College. You enter the program with the required associate’s degree (and at least 60 credits), satisfy Elms’ core requirements, and complete the requirements for the social work degree.

Classes are held on Saturdays, 8:00am – 4:30pm, and are taught by Elms faculty, in 10 eight-week sessions over a 20 month period. Students will join a cohort and remain in that group throughout the program. This degree program prepares students to take the state social work licensing exam at the L.S.W. level in Massachusetts. In addition, graduates are eligible for advanced standing in many social work graduate programs.
