Our programs address the need for well-prepared teachers through the Center for Equity and Urban Education (CEUE), which seeks to increase the number and diversity of qualified teachers to address the teacher shortages in the school systems in the Greater Springfield area, and through the targeted recruitment activities for special education, mathematics and English as a Second Language preparation programs.
