Elms College is excited to announce its new LPN-to-BSN Nursing Program, which is designed as a continuing education program for those who are currently licensed practical nurses. Beginning in Fall 2025, this program will offer a pathway for LPNs to achieve their Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

This unique program will be designed to meet the needs of a working student with flexibility and support at the forefront. College of Our Lady of the Elms will offer this program in a hybrid format. Students can complete the program in 24-27 months.

Dr. Julie Beck, Dean of the School of Nursing, states: “This innovative nursing program is structured to meet the needs of the working adult nurse. By offering an opportunity for LPNs to further their educational pursuits, Elms College School of Nursing hopes to further career advancement and opportunities for all nurses in our community.”

The Elms College School of Nursing has educated nurses in Western Massachusetts for over 40 years. The LPN-to-BSN Nursing Program will open new opportunities for working nurses as more healthcare organizations require staff to be educated at the BSN level. The supportive environment and hybrid program will allow working nurses to continue their education in a program that will enable them to focus on their careers, families, and other responsibilities.
