Deana Nunes is an Assistant Clinical Instructor at Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts. She earned her BS in Nursing in 1994 and MSN in the Nurse Educator track in 2018 from Our Lady of the Elms College. She is currently enrolled in the Ed.D. program at Southern Connecticut State University in the Nurse Faculty program. Deana is a certified wound care nurse, earning credentialing at Medical University of South Carolina’s Certified Wound Care Nurse program. She has used this clinical expertise for the past fifteen years in the emergent care, acute care, home care, outpatient, and long-term care settings.
Deana is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and Delta Epsilon Honor Societies, and serves as Elms faculty liaison and Secretary for the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, Western Massachusetts Chapter.
