’24, Postbaccalaureate ’25

I’m driven by a desire to change the world. I see my education as a crucial step toward my goal of becoming either a doctor of psychiatry or psychology. I want to use my expertise to bring about meaningful change in mental health treatment, possibly even exploring and establishing new areas of treatment.

I enjoyed Elms and all it has to offer. I chose it because of its location and reputation. The school is progressive and has an academic difficulty level that continues to foster my intellectual growth. Dr. Danielle Maurice, assistant professor of psychology, was a staple in my academic achievement. She is an outstanding faculty member and an asset to the Elms community. She did an excellent job both as a professor and as my advisor.

I have gotten everything out of my program that I wanted, including additional direction in moving forward with my educational career. For my Experiential Learning program, I researched the psychiatric characteristics of school shooters.

I am very pleased to have attended Elms. I found it very rewarding, so much so that I chose to continue there in the post baccalaureate program. I always recommend Elms College to others. Among local colleges, Elms stands out for its academic quality and its strong community.
