I chose to pursue my MBA at Elms because I went here for my bachelor’s degree. I loved how small the environment was compared to bigger schools. It gives you the opportunity for more one-on-one time with professors and more chances to engage with all your classmates.
What I found most valuable about the program was the group work and team effort. Going into healthcare you are going to be interacting with a lot of people and will need to know how to work as a team. My classes have not only stressed working with others, but learning how to be a leader. And that is beneficial for my future goals as well.
My Elms degree has already landed me a position at Baystate Medical Center. I am still navigating my way through school and my job and figuring out where I want to lean towards when it comes to a career as a whole. There are so many options within healthcare both on the clinical and the business side and I have been given lots of opportunities to expand my connections.
