Department(s): Modern LanguagesLearn more about Martha Barry-PlotkinMartha Barry-Plotkin received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Amherst College and her master’s degree in Spanish linguistics and literature from Harvard University. Prior to coming to Elms College, she worked as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University and Boston College, and studied at the Instituto Internacional in Madrid and the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Mexico City. She has also worked and consulted to develop job training and career counseling programs in various corporate and community organizations.

Department(s): Modern LanguagesLearn more about Joyce HamptonDr. Hampton is responsible for providing leadership in support of Strategic and Global Priorities for the institution, and for practices and policies regarding equitable and inclusive student retention and success. The goal is to develop a campus culture and climate where all college members experience a sense of belonging, community, and satisfaction. In addition, Dr. Hampton provides oversight for the International Programs Office, First Year Seminar and the Honors Programs.
