Dr. Ward serves as the Director of the Criminal Justice and Legal Studies programs at Elms College. Prior to joining Elms, he was the Director of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies at Newbury College. He has also lectured at MCPHS University in Boston on drug regulatory affairs.
Prior to entering academia, Dr. Ward held positions in banking, information technology, management consulting, and litigation support. He earned his Ph.D. from the Law & Public Policy program at Northeastern University, where he studied the courtroom workgroup culture and operations in a federal problem-solving court. As the Director of the Criminal Justice and Legal Studies programs, he teaches the introductory courses and the capstone course, as well as other criminal justice electives and law courses.
