Alumnae Library Department

Library Director Tony Fonseca manages the library’s budget and resources, both human and material, in order to meet the information and research needs of Elms College. He also serves as part-time College Archivist, coordinating the inventory and digitization of both the Archives and Elms’ Special Collections.

Lynn Gamble graduated from Springfield Technical Community College in 1996 with an Associates of Science degree and a Certification in Occupational Therapy. She has been a licensed Occupational Therapist since 1996. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting at Elms,graduating in 2012. She is the library’s Acquisitions Supervisor and doubles as its Copy Cataloger.

Debra Gomes started her career at Alumnae Library in 1980 as a work study student in the Reference Department. In 1985 she started working full-time as the head of circulation and in 1994 became head of serials & systems.

Danielle Keyes volunteered at the Alumnae Library after graduating helping with both the Archives and Special Collections under the Library Director. In 2017, she worked as the Interim Night Circulation Supervisor and now has returned.

Michael has been employed by the Alumnae Library since 1999 when he began as a work-study student in the Circulation department. He soon assumed the role of Student Supervisor, and was then awarded a new part-time position as Evening Circulation Supervisor. In 2006, Michael stepped into the vacated role of Circulation Manager.
