Developed Social Media Marketing; a new course at Elms.
- Created pre and post assessments in Moodle to evaluate the overall effectiveness of the course.
- Researched credible certification programs and incorporated Social Marketing certification classes into coursework for students to obtain by the end of the semester.
- Coursework will include working with a classroom client (local business) to solve a Social Media Marketing problem through a Social Media Audit of the organization and creation of a comprehensive Social Media Marketing Plan.
- Created MoU between Elms and the classroom client.
- The goal of the course is for students to gain a firm understanding of Social Media Marketing practices through certification course, case studies, and through experiential learning by working with a local business to understand real SMM issues that organizations face.
