CCNE SealElms College nursing programs are approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing and accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). CCNE ensures quality and integrity of nursing programs. The Commission accredits only baccalaureate and graduate programs in nursing located in institutions of higher education. The current accreditation is in effect until 2019.

CCNE accreditation serves the public interest by ensuring that quality and integrity of baccalaureate and graduate nursing programs and by fostering continuing improvement. Accreditation also assures that the graduates of Elms College nursing program meet the standards for professional education in nursing, qualifying them to practice nursing as well as pursue advanced degrees.
