WAIVABLE FEES
Health Insurance
Students enrolled in 9 or more credits are required by Massachusetts law to have health insurance coverage. Eligible students must either enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan or submit an online waiver with comparable coverage by the published deadline. Students who do not waive by the deadline will be automatically enrolled and billed for the plan. All plan information, deadlines, and waiver forms are available through the University Health Plans website.
Blazer Booklink
Blazer Book Link provides students with access to required course materials each semester. Students will receive important program information, including fees, deadlines, and opt-out instructions, through their Elms email account at the time of registration and before the start of classes. Watch for emails with subject lines such as “Welcome to Blazer Book Link” and “Your Order is Ready for Pick-Up.
Parking Pass
All student vehicles parked on campus must display a valid parking permit. Permits are available through Public Safety and are required regardless of how often you park on campus. Parking permit regulations are enforced Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. while classes are in session. Students who are only on campus outside of enforcement hours may request a waiver of the parking fee.

Comprehensive Fee: Covers student access to campus resources including Health Services, the Maguire Fitness Center, printing, student activities, ID badge access, and other campus facilities
Technology Fee: Supports student access to campus technology resources and services, including ElmsConnect, Moodle, Wi-Fi, and other technology systems used throughout the semester
Orientation Fee: Covers orientation activities, onboarding, and campus resources designed to support new students as they transition to Elms College
First Year Seminar Fee: Supports the First Year Seminar program, which helps new students transition to college through academic support, campus engagement, and community-building experiences.

Financial Aid
We are committed to using all possible resources to put together an offer that makes sense for you — 95% of our undergrads receive some form of Financial Aid.
To apply for financial aid, students must complete a FAFSA on studentaid.gov. Once the FAFSA is complete, and the student is accepted into a program at Elms, we will assemble an individualized offer for you. Our staff is available to guide you through this process.
