The Creative Writing Club is a place for all genres, styles, and experience levels to come together to share their work, improve their writing ability, and build a welcoming literary community. Choir

Come join our choir for music and friendship! We meet once a week for rehearsal with our choir director. Commuter Council

The mission of commuter council is to implement programs and events specifically for commuter students. The plan is to create an environment for commuter students to engage with campus activities and feel supported throughout their time here at Elms.

Dance Team

The dance team motivates and entertains the Elms College community and the community at large. The team performs at Elms College men’s and women’s athletic events, at talent shows, and at intercollegiate competitions. The team also strives to make an impact in the community through strategic partnerships with charities and by hosting charitable events. Fashion and Sustainability Association (FASA)

Fashion and Sustainability Association (FASA) is a student-led club that combines a passion for fashion with a commitment to sustainability. We focus on being kind to the Earth, nature, and ourselves by promoting mindful consumption and creative reuse. Our meetings are interactive and resourceful, activities include sewing sessions, DIY projects, thrift trips, and more. We also host exciting campus events like free pop-up thrift shops and informative talks on sustainable fashion and environmental awareness, especially during key moments like Earth Day. International Club

Comprised of international students and those with a global mindset, the International Club celebrates diverse cultures and explores current issues. The International Club also plans exciting events and dinners to develop a close-knit community. We meet weekly and encourage anyone to join. We are an active club that organizes fun and interesting activities that promote global awareness.

Latin X United

Mission Statement: LXU is an organization created to primarily focus on building community amongst different Latino groups around campus by allowing a space for dialogue, encouraging inter and intra-group communication, and uniting all amongst shared heritages. We strive to educate the Elms community about the energy, knowledge, variety, and unity that exist in the Latino community. LXU will take action by programming events that exhibit the professional, cultural, and social presence in the Latino community at Elms, in Massachusetts, and around the world. LXU will also contribute to the values of Elms College that are Faith, Community, Justice, and Excellence by breaking down social structures that have been created against us. LXU is to be a safe haven for our Latino students that allows them to grow as individuals and citizens of society.

Men of Color Association

As the MOCA of Elms College we strive to create spaces for educational opportunities to help raise awareness of our experiences and backgrounds. We believe in the stories of all individuals who are a part of the Elms community and wish to learn from one another. As the MOCA we are also in pursuit of investing in mentorship and developing ourselves into successful and empowered Men Of Color.

Multicultural Scholars Collective

This is an academic organization. The purpose of the Multicultural Scholars Collective (MSC) at Elms College is to empower, educate, support, advocate, and inspire students across ethnic groups to maximize their full potential as holistic individuals both within and beyond the classroom. We shall pursue holistic development through personal exploration, career exploration, identity recognition and identity development.  We aim to reach our purpose through professional and academic development, engaged mentorship, and community outreach.  We search to create a sense of belonging via the physical and emotional creation of safe spaces dedicated to students of color.

The mission and purpose is to connect communication sciences and disorders majors with one another, and advocacy throughout our field by bringing in guest speakers. We plan to offer educational materials within our scope of practice.

The Psychology Club at Elms College is an student academic organization whose mission is to encourage, promote, and build a greater understanding of psychology. The Psychology Club, guided by the mission of the College, aims to promote student involvement and effect positive changes in the community and the world. SAB promotes the interests and wants of the Elms community through campus-wide programming, with the main goal of enriching the student experience. Student Athlete Advisory Committee

The mission of SAAC is to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting leadership opportunities, protecting student-athlete well-being and fostering a positive student-athlete image to the Elms College campus and community. SAAC is responsible for disseminating information to student-athletes from the NCAA and NECC and solicit student-athlete responses to proposed legislation.

The Teachers’ Lounge is a collaborative club that aims to encourage future teachers to support their education major peers and motivates future educators to be inspiring leaders in and out of the classroom. True Colors

The purpose of True Colors relies on comfortability and safe spaces. This is to say that every member here should not have to explain who they are or why they are that way. The club is not centered around education of those ignorant to LGBTQIA+ matters, rather it is centered around the act of just being.

Our organization is dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating the growth of Women of Color both on and off campus. We empower Women of Color by highlighting their achievements through club activities, events, volunteering, and academic success.
