The Elms College Elm STEMs program, supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation, awards scholarship funds to students who attend Elms College full-time and major in STEM fields. First year students interested in majors in Biology, Computer Information Technology, Chemistry, or Mathematics are invited to apply to the Elm STEMs program. Students majoring in pre-medical studies or education are not eligible to participate.
The scholarships range from $3,800 - $10,000 a year until graduation at Elms College for students who maintain 3.0 GPA and full-time status in their STEM major. In addition, the Elm STEMs program provides opportunities for:
Math and science skills are needed in a number of high-growth industries including advanced manufacturing, alternative energy, biotechnology, and information technology.
• Molecular biologists
• Environmental scientists
• Forensic scientists
• Software and network engineers
• Web developers
• Database and system administrators
• Tech support specialists
• Operations research analysts
To be eligible for the Elm STEMs scholarship, you must meet the requirements listed below. Underrepresented communities in the sciences such as minorities, female students, and first-generation college students are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are now accepting scholarship applications from students who are applying to Elms College for Fall 2016. Applications will be reviewed starting March 1st 2016, and applicants will be informed of decisions by mid-March.
